Private Autism Assessment
Compassionate, Person Centred Autism Assessments for Children, Adolescents and Adults
Neuro Nest Clinic, we provide comprehensive private Autism assessments designed to help individuals and families better understand differences in social communication, interaction, sensory processing, and patterns of behaviour in a supportive and professional environment.
Our assessment process explores whether these characteristics are consistent with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), considering an individual's developmental history and whether these differences are persistent, present across multiple areas of daily life and have a significant impact on education, relationships, emotional wellbeing, employment or everyday functioning.
Led by an experienced NHS Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and Principal Clinical Psychologist, our multidisciplinary assessments aim to provide clarity, understanding and practical recommendations tailored to each individual's unique strengths and support needs.
What is Autism?
Autism is a spectrum, meaning every autistic person is unique. While some individuals may require significant support in their daily lives, others may live independently but experience challenges that are less visible to those around them. Each person has their own individual strengths, differences and support needs.
Autistic individuals may experience differences in social communication, understanding and navigating social situations, flexibility of thinking, routines and sensory processing. Many also have areas of intense interest, strong attention to detail and unique ways of thinking and problem-solving.
With the right understanding, support and reasonable adjustments, autistic individuals can thrive across education, employment, relationships and everyday life.
