A systematic process helping to understand if an individuals attention, activity and impulsivity difficulties are: persistent, occur in multiple areas of life and significant enough to affect functioning in daily life.
What is involved?
Interview: discuss symptoms, history and daily life.
QB Check
Questionnaires: Completed by individual, parents, teachers or partners.
Input from others: Exploring if symptoms show up across settings.
Rule-out checks: Ensuring difficulties aren't due to other causes.
Sensory Profile
A standardised tool used to evaluate how individuals perceive, process and respond to sensory information in daily life.
What is involved?
SP Assessment: Explores individuals sensory experiences, preferences & challenges.
Interviews: Discuss how sensory needs affect everyday life.
Feedback: Parent/Teacher insights on learning & participation.
